Mallang (pronounced Ma∙Lang) Candle Company was founded in May of 2003. After returning from a visit with my mom, I shared with my husband David that I had a new idea for a creative hobby. My mother purchased a "gel candle" and could not stop talking about how beautiful it was. Mom gave me one to take home, and as I stared at it, I thought to myself, these are nice but I believe I can add my own creative spin to them. My husband suggested I that I buy the material and make a couple. Those first few candles ended up being beautiful one of a kind Mother's Day gifts for my mother and mother-in-law that year. Those gifts were so well received, from that point a business was born.

Over the years, we have honed our craft; changed our name*; expanded our product line and served hundreds of loyal customers. Throughout, the course of this journey one thing has remained the same, our motto: �Your Imagination is Our only Limitation�. We continue to strive for excellent customer care and to make beautiful handcrafted �Gifts with You in Mind� that will "Indulge Your Mind Body and Soul."
